Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead AI/ML initiatives on the Databricks platform, collaborating with clients and cross-functional EY teams. You will build scalable data pipelines, implement generative AI and agentic systems, and ensure reliable deployment and governance across varied business contexts.

The role emphasizes partnership with clients, continuous learning, and delivering high-impact AI solutions in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• 3–6 years of full-time AI/ML experience.
• Databricks Certification with relevant data/ML focus.
• Strong Python, PySpark and Scala skills.
• Experience building production AI/ML solutions on Databricks.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps) and MLOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Researching and implementing scalable machine learning, generative AI, and agentic systems that meet business requirements
• Building data engineering pipelines and AI solutions on Databricks
• Evaluating, monitoring, and optimizing learning processes with MLflow and tracing
• Designing ontologies and semantic models for AI solutions and data products
• This position may have travel requirements to engage with external clients regularly
