Job summary

Ascensus is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and support conversational AI solutions across our contact center platforms. You will work with a modern stack (Python, .NET, Azure OpenAI, LangChain, PostgreSQL, Docker, Git, Azure DevOps) to deliver virtual agents and AI-powered workflows.

You will build scalable systems, optimize prompts, and integrate AI capabilities while collaborating in an Agile team.

Qualifications

• Proficient in .NET web applications and back-end services.
• Extensive experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs in distributed systems.
• Experience building AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, LangChain and AI agents.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain conversational AI experiences (chatbots/voice bots).
• Create and optimize prompts, intents, and knowledge retrieval for customer-facing AI.
• Develop integrations between contact center platforms and internal systems via APIs.
