Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead the development of an AI-assisted agent platform. You will drive architecture, implement agent-based workflows, and coordinate across product, risk, and controls.

Expertise in Python and backend ecosystems is required, with a strong emphasis on responsible AI and scalable deployment. You will partner with teams to deliver robust, secure, and efficient systems, adopting enterprise-standard toolchains and governance practices.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
• 5+ years applied experience in software engineering
• Proficiency in Python (primary for agent orchestration) and/or TypeScript / Java / Go

Responsibilities

• Execute creative software solutions and troubleshoot complex problems
• Define and drive platform roadmap for agent-based capabilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of core agent platform components
• Partner with product, engineering, risk, and control stakeholders
• Establish quality, performance, and operational standards for agent workloads
• Translate experimentation into production with scalable designs
• Embed governance, privacy, and model risk in platform design
• Communicate technical strategy to senior stakeholders
• Drive adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices
• Apply SDLC tools to improve automation and value
