JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Plano seeks a Lead Software Engineer to build and scale an AI agent platform on AWS. You will design, deliver, and operate secure production systems, contribute across design, development, and testing, and mentor engineers in best practices.

Responsibilities include full-stack work with Python/Java backends and React frontends, REST interfaces, CI/CD, and cloud-native tooling to enable agent-driven applications across business functions.

Qualificações

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years of applied experience in delivering production systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and/or Java (strong preference for both).
• Working knowledge of React and modern frontend fundamentals.
• Demonstrated end-to-end engineering across services/APIs, integrations, CI/CD automation, and production operations.
• Practical AWS experience building cloud-native services.
• Proficiency across all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, resiliency, and security-by-design.
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools with validation expectations.
• Experience mentoring engineers in an enterprise environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and maintain AI agent platform integrations with approved models/APIs.
• Deliver full-stack features, including Python/Java backends and React UI components.
• Build cloud-native infrastructure on AWS (ECS, serverless, EventBridge/SNS/SQS).
• Develop secure, production-grade code and review others’ work.
• Automate CI/CD, testing, and release processes across the SDLC toolchain.
• Mentor engineers through design and code reviews and best practices.
• Monitor platform health and resolve performance/stability issues.
