JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to advance the Agentic AI platform in Plano, TX. You will lead an agile team to design, build, and deliver trusted technology products with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability across multiple business functions.

The role emphasizes production-grade AI tooling, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with product, risk, and control teams to drive architecture decisions and reusable patterns.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• 5+ years applied experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript/Java/Go for enterprise backend integration.
• Experience with building scalable microservices and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the platform roadmap for agent-based capabilities, focusing on reliability and usability.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of core agent platform components and integration patterns.
• Partner with product, engineering, risk, and control stakeholders to align requirements and unblock execution.
• Establish quality, performance, and operational standards for agent workloads and monitoring.
