Job summary

JPMorganChase in the United States seeks a Senior Lead Software Engineer to architect AI-native, autonomous agentic AI solutions. You will guide multi‑agent systems, RAG workflows, tool-use agents, and LLM reasoning, advising on safety, prompt engineering, and responsible AI across teams.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java/J2EE and/or Python, hands-on with agentic AI frameworks, and NLP/ML.
• Experience leading AI-powered products as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Strong understanding of financial services and cloud deployment on AWS.
• Ability to guide AI-assisted engineering practices and secure coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Regularly provides technical guidance to support the business and technical teams.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews code.
• Drives AI-assisted engineering governance to improve quality, speed, and operations.
• Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development capabilities to improve automation.
• Influences product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
• Serves as a subject matter expert across one or more focus areas.
• Contributes to the engineering community and promotes firmwide SDLC frameworks.
