Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking an AI Enablement Lead in Austin to partner with business owners and engineering teams for re-engineering processes using AI-enabled workflows.

You will operate at the intersection of business strategy, technology, process design, and responsible AI deployment at enterprise scale. The role requires high ownership with visibility, guiding the People organization as it evolves its operational model and governance controls.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in enterprise technology, AI enablement or automation roles.
• Translate complex requirements into scalable tech solutions.
• Design or enable automated workflows across enterprise systems.
• Hands-on fluency with APIs, scripting, SQL, orchestration, and platforms.
• Experience with AI-enabled apps or intelligent automation in enterprise.
• Strong software delivery and production lifecycle knowledge.
• Collaborate across engineering, security, governance, and platform teams.
• Assess feasibility, value, risk, and scalability when prioritizing automation.
• Excellent communication to bridge tech and business groups.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Assess workflows to identify AI-enabled automation opportunities.
• Evaluate leverage, value, complexity, risk, and governance implications.
• Identify repetitive tasks and high-volume processes for automation.
• Create and maintain a prioritized AI backlog and roadmap.
• Map data flows across enterprise platforms and tools.
• Define human-in-the-loop review checkpoints and governance controls.
• Configure AI workflows using APIs, orchestration layers, and integrations.
• Translate requirements into scalable production-ready solutions.
• Ensure maintainability and operational sustainability over time.
• Monitor KPIs like cycle time, accuracy, and adoption.
• Manage validation, regression testing, and model updates.
• Maintain workflow documentation and data lineage.
• Partner with People org, operations, engineering, governance, security.
• Surface new automation opportunities as priorities evolve.
• Support rollout, training, and adoption of AI workflows.
