Job summary

Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP seeks a senior leader to drive AI enablement across the East Coast, partnering with LASER, Professional Development, and IS Training. You will advance adoption of AI and legal technology in attorney workflows, elevate training programs, and manage change with a focus on measurable outcomes.

The role combines leadership, strategy and hands-on program delivery, with remote work flexibility and periodic travel to New York and regional offices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in legal technology, innovation, enablement or change management, ideally within a law firm, professional services, or comparable knowledge-driven environment.
• Demonstrated success leading technology adoption and change management initiatives at scale with measurable adoption outcomes.
• Strong understanding of attorney workflows and the practice of law with familiarity in AI and legal technology platforms (e.g. generative AI tools, document review, drafting and knowledge management systems).
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills with proven ability to build credibility and become a trusted advisor.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team along with exercising sound judgement.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and program management skills.
• Comfortable working with adoption and usage analytics to measure and act on training and enablement outcomes.
• Demonstrated experience delivering training and facilitation in both one-to-one and group settings, to audiences ranging from individual attorneys to full practice groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead the East Coast AI enablement program and drive adoption across offices.
• Design and deliver AI and legal tech enablement curricula and adoption campaigns.
• Own change management strategy for AI and legal tech rollouts, anticipating resistance and resolving dynamics.
• Develop communications materials, information portals, guides and videos for attorneys.
• Travel to other offices as required and collaborate with practice groups to embed AI in workflows.
