Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking an experienced AI Enablement & Development engineer to lead training programs that build AI engineering capabilities across the organization. You will design curricula, run onboarding bootcamps, hands-on labs, and internal forums to help engineers ramp faster and deepen expertise.

You will collaborate with engineering principals to reflect current tools and practices, assess gaps, and drive a prioritized enablement roadmap while measuring outcomes and scaling successful

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally including leadership roles such as tech lead, staff engineer, or engineering manager.
• 2+ years of experience training, mentoring, or guiding technical enablement for software engineers.
• Strong hands-on proficiency with AI-assisted development, AI/ML engineering practices, and modern software-development tools.
• Experience designing curricula, workshops, labs, or structured learning programs for engineers.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills to teach concepts and engage senior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and guide AI engineering enablement programs (onboarding bootcamps, workshops, labs, forums).
• Build and maintain a role-based AI engineering curriculum aligned with priorities and new tech.
• Partner with engineering principals to ensure training reflects current tools and real-world challenges.
• Assess capability gaps and translate findings into an enablement roadmap.
• Create hands-on labs, coding exercises, reference implementations, aligned with production environments.
• Measure program effectiveness and iterate to improve curriculum.
• Represent engineering enablement in workforce and technology planning discussions.
• Pilot new learning approaches and scale successful programs.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing.
