Job summary

MEDHOST is seeking a Software Architect to lead architectural direction across our Java-based applications and products. You will champion AI-driven development, guide teams through the AI-DLC lifecycle, and ensure secure, scalable solutions with proper governance.

This senior role partners with product management, operations, and engineering leadership to align technology with business goals. You will collaborate on performance, reliability, and regulatory compliance while mentoring engineers

Qualifications

Graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
4+ years development experience, or 6+ with a BS, with strong Java work.
Hands-on AI-driven development experience and architecture leadership.
Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, and AI tooling.

Responsibilities

Set architectural vision and milestones for scalable Java/web apps.
Lead AI-driven development practices and define AI agent workflows.
Establish standards for reviewing and validating AI-generated code and designs.
Architect AI integrations while addressing security, privacy, and regulatory needs.
Evolve architectural stack and ensure adherence to development standards.
Review designs for architectural integrity and guide delivery.
Participate in end-to-end SDLC within Agile processes.
Plan performance targets and troubleshoot production bottlenecks.
