Job summary

MEDHOST seeks a Software Architect to lead architecture for Java/web applications. You will guide AI-driven development, shape standards for AI-generated code, and collaborate with product, operations, and other architects to align with business goals.

You will mentor teams, ensure scalability and security, and drive performance improvements while maintaining regulatory compliance and quality management practices.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• 5+ years of development experience with significant Java.
• Experience leading technical teams and architecture decisions.

Responsibilities

• Set architectural vision for Java/web apps and milestones.
• Lead AI-driven development adoption (AI-DLC) and define usage of AI coding agents.
• Establish coding standards, reviews, and security practices for AI-generated artifacts.
• Architect solutions integrating LLMs with attention to security, privacy and regulatory needs.
• Evolve architectural stack and review designs to ensure quality and consistency.
• Participate in Agile SDLC from requirements to deployment.
• Plan for performance targets and troubleshoot JVM/database bottlenecks.
• Develop and evolve development practices and proofs of concept as needed.
• Meet clients to determine long-term system needs and requirements.
• Provide technical support and assist clients with implementation plans.
• Coach teammates on technology use to address customer needs.
• Ensure QMS procedures are followed per organizational guidelines.
