Job summary

TikTok is seeking a senior QA/Automation engineer to build scalable test platforms, AI-assisted tooling, and validation services for a globally used e-commerce platform. You will partner with QA and RD teams to create reusable automation and AI solutions that drive release quality and efficiency.

You will work across multiple countries and regions to ensure localization, cross-market release quality, and robust testing for a fast-growing platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in test platform, automation, AI tooling, developer productivity, or quality engineering.
• Experience building test automation frameworks, validation tools, CI/CD related solutions.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts including requirement analysis, test design, regression testing, defect analysis, and release validation.
• Ability to build reliable, maintainable, and scalable engineering solutions.
• Experience collaborating with QA and RD teams in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Build test platforms, automation frameworks, validation services, and AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and release quality.
• Develop AI skills/agents for QA/RD scenarios such as test case generation, data generation, log analysis, defect triage, and regression selection.
• Create self-service capabilities to help QA/RD teams validate and monitor release readiness and reduce manual testing.
• Integrate automation and AI outputs with test management systems, dashboards, and release processes.
• Collaborate with QA and RD teams to turn testing pain points into reusable automation platforms or AI solutions.
• Support international e-commerce scenarios across multiple countries/regions.
