Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Campus Intern to join our Global E‑Commerce Internship program. You will work with developers and QA teams to define test strategies and help build automation tools and reusable frameworks. This role provides hands-on learning in a fast‑moving, globally distributed team.

Gain practical experience in software testing fundamentals, automation, AI testing initiatives, and exposure to scalable testing infrastructure while collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Understanding of software testing fundamentals, networking, databases, algorithms, and system design.
• Hands‑on coding ability and basic understanding of development and debugging workflows.
• Strong execution ability, learning agility, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside developers and cross‑functional stakeholders to understand product requirements and translate them into effective quality strategies.
• Build and maintain automation solutions for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Participate in requirement reviews and technical design discussions to identify quality risks and improve testability.
• Develop reusable tools, scripts, and frameworks that improve engineering efficiency and reduce manual testing effort.
• Analyze bottlenecks in quality workflows and help improve testing processes, tools, and platform capabilities.
• Support AI testing initiatives, including validating AI‑enabled features, improving automated test generation, or using AI‑assisted quality workflows to increase testing effectiveness.
