Job summary

Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) seeks a Sr. Automation QA Engineer to design, implement, and scale automated testing across multiple products.

You will develop robust Playwright-based tests and collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to ensure quality from requirements through delivery. You will also lead automation architecture decisions, mentor QA engineers, and apply AI-assisted tooling to boost efficiency and test coverage while supporting agile delivery in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript for scalable test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web application testing.
• Experience applying AI tools to reduce maintenance and speed up script creation.
• Experience leading or mentoring QA engineers.
• Strong understanding of test methodologies and ability to build test frameworks from scratch.
• Experience in agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement maintainable, scalable test structures across multiple products.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to clarify requirements and translate them into test plans.
• Write and execute Playwright-based functional tests for core user flows and edge cases.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to accelerate script creation and maintenance.
• Lead architectural decisions on test automation and framework direction.
• Prepare project status and quality review reports and support audits with stakeholders.
