Qualifications

• 12+ years managing complex platform engineering and infrastructure programs with 100+ engineers.
• Expert-level Jira proficiency and Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
• Proven track record owning programs/portfolios of products/features, scoping requirements, and planning milestones.
• Strong organizational awareness across dispersed portfolios.
• Ability to summarize complex technical context into actions.
• Detail-oriented with timely decisions in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with AI tools used daily (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot).
• Experience building Claude skills and AI workflows.
• Experience integrating AI into enterprise workflows and infra tools.
• Light development in Python or Go for AI automation scripts.
• Proven experience using AI to enhance decision-making and efficiency.
• Coaching distributed platform and cloud engineering teams across timezones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across strategic and tactical.
• Relationship-building across boundaries.
• Mentoring other program managers and driving organizational change in platform engineering.
• Experience supporting platform engineering portfolios: infra, cloud, reliability.
• Familiar with build systems, deployment automation, monitoring, scaling.
• Understanding cloud-native, microservices, container orchestration.
• Knowledge of platform engineering languages and tools (Go, Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD).

Responsibilities

• Partner with platform, cloud, and sensor core teams to align priorities.
• Drive technical decision-making and resolve architectural challenges.
• Create delivery schedules for sensor platform initiatives with engineering management.
• Coordinate with global business units to explain goals and involvement.
• Track status of platform engineering activities and ensure schedules are met.
• Escalate critical infrastructure issues and drive resolutions.
• Manage regular project communications and status reporting.
• Develop AI-powered dashboards for project monitoring and insights.
• Build AI agents to identify infrastructure bottlenecks and improve decisions.
