Job summary

TiltEdge Solutions LLC is seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer for our New York City on-site team. You will build and secure scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern front-end frameworks, while leveraging AI-assisted tools to enhance coding, reviews, and test strategies.

Applicants should have strong cloud experience (AWS), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and expertise across the full software lifecycle, from design to delivery.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to set team expectations for validating outputs.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations and secure handling of inputs/outputs.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Containerization (Docker and Kubernetes), and front-end tech (React/Redux/Angular).
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Proficiency in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation to improve stability of software applications.
• Drives team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architectural designs and applicability.
• Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote new technologies.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
