Job summary

Atlassian is seeking a Forward Deployed Architect to shape how strategic customers adopt our platform as their operating system. This role blends enterprise-grade design with business transformation, not hands-on engineering, and sits with 1–3 strategic accounts at a time for 3–9 months each.

You’ll report to the Head of Solution Architects and may travel up to 50% as you drive end-to-end transformations across HR, Finance, Marketing, PMO, and Operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in customer-facing technical, advisory, consulting, or transformation roles.
• Track record delivering end-to-end transformations at Fortune 1000 or large regulated/public sector customers.
• Executive presence and exceptional written communication; able to produce memos or design docs for executive review.
• Strong workflow and systems thinking; map complex processes and design scalable ways across business functions.
• Proficiency in cloud-native concepts, security, data, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design the customer's System of Work across functions using Atlassian products.
• Lead process and workflow transformation from current to future state, including operating model design.
• Expand Atlassian beyond development into HR, Finance, Marketing, PMO, and operations via cross-functional design.
• Drive AI adoption for knowledge workers through practical, workflow-based use cases.
• Mentor and uplevel senior architects and engineers on engagements.
