Job summary

HealthEdge is hiring a Lead Atlassian Platform Architect to design and stand up our new Atlassian Cloud foundation in a greenfield build. You will own architecture, governance, and the migration program across Jira Software Cloud, Confluence, and JSM for internal teams and customer-facing portals.

You will lead enterprise migration waves, set standards for security, data residency, and access control, and apply AI capabilities to improve knowledge management and automation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in the Atlassian ecosystem with 3+ years in architecture or platform design.
• Experience standing up enterprise Jira Software Cloud environments and migrations.
• Ability to define governance, configuration standards and change control for a large platform.
• Deep knowledge of Jira, Confluence and JSM, including portal design, SLAs and knowledge structure.
• Proven use of AI tools (Rovo, Atlassian Intelligence, Claude) in real work today.
• Strong program discipline and the ability to own plans, sequences and dependencies.
• Experience in regulated environments with access control and audit considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design the target-state Atlassian architecture across Jira, Confluence and JSM.
• Lead the migration program: discovery, assessment, waves, sequencing and cutover decisions.
• Build a governance model with configuration standards and approval processes.
• Decide when native capability, marketplace apps, Forge/Connect or custom dev is best.
• Architect for regulated data, including Access, SSO, SCIM, IP allowlisting and data residency.
• Own the AI layer integration and how it improves knowledge management and ticket automation.
• Set a high technical bar and mentor architects and admins across locations.
