Job summary

Atlassian is seeking a Forward Deployed Architect to shape how strategic customers adopt Atlassian as their operating system for work. You will translate CIO ambitions into a credible, phased, AI-native architecture and a business transformation plan spanning HR, Finance, Marketing, PMO, Operations, and Engineering.

You will be embedded with 1–3 strategic accounts at a time for 3–9 months each, reporting to the Head of Solution Architects, with up to 50% travel and executive-level impact across

Qualifications

• 8+ years in customer-facing technical, advisory, consulting, or transformation roles.
• Strong executive presence and ability to produce design docs for executive review.
• Strong workflow and systems thinking across business functions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and operate across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design the customer's System of Work across functions using Jira, Confluence, Rovo, and the Atlassian platform.
• Lead transformation across operating models, governance, and platform team design.
• Expand Atlassian beyond core developers into HR, Finance, Marketing, PMO, Operations.
