Clair is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Core Products team to own features from idea through post‑launch analysis, collaborating with design, product, and data teams to boost user outcomes and business metrics.

You will build AI‑native, agentic workflows and design scalable architectures to support millions of payroll events, enabling hourly workers to access wages instantly.

Qualifications

• Deep experience building, deploying, and maintaining production‑grade applications in cloud‑native environments.
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI‑assisted workflows for rapid, high‑quality code generation.
• Track record of prioritizing user impact over technical cleverness and holding yourself accountable to business metrics.
• Strong understanding of event‑driven architectures and how core transactional systems feed analytical data engineering pipelines.
• Ability to own a product or feature across the stack.

Responsibilities

• End‑to‑End Product Ownership: Partner with design, product, and data teams to define technical strategy and evaluate trade‑offs.
• Build with AI & Agents: Architect and deploy AI models and autonomous agentic workflows to accelerate velocity.
• System‑Wide Architecture: Design resilient systems with latency, scale, and data telemetry in mind.
• Measure Business Impact: Own features after launch; instrument metrics and iterate based on user behavior.
