Clair, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the Core Products team to own features end-to-end, drive AI-native engineering, and build scalable, data-driven architecture for real-time payroll systems.

You will collaborate with design, product, and data teams, architect resilient systems, and accelerate velocity through AI tools while ensuring security and performance at scale.

Qualifications

• Deep experience building production-grade applications in cloud-native environments.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted workflows for rapid, high-quality code generation.
• Track record of prioritizing user impact over technical cleverness and measuring business metrics.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Product Ownership: define technical strategy with design, product, and data teams.
• Build with AI & Agents: deploy features using AI models and autonomous workflows.
• System-Wide Architecture: design latency-aware, scalable systems and data pipelines.
• Measure Business Impact: own features post-launch and monitor key metrics.
