Job summary

Prologis is seeking a Senior IT Cloud Engineer – AI Driven Operations & Platform Engineering in Denver. You will modernize enterprise operations by automating repetitive workflows, enabling self-service capabilities, and deploying AI-assisted operating patterns across cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities include designing reliable automation, establishing safety controls, and delivering reusable components.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and operating infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, DynamoDB, IAM.
• Experience using infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or similar).
• Proficiency with Python scripting/programming.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across cloud, networking, identity, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience with identity and endpoint management systems (SAML, OAuth, Entra ID/Azure AD, Intune).
• Experience designing or building AI-assisted or agentic workflows for engineering/operational use cases.
• Ability to evaluate when AI, deterministic automation, or combined approaches are appropriate.
• Experience applying Git workflows (branching, PRs, code review).
• Willingness to adopt emerging technology and automation to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Redesign high-friction operational workflows using AI, automation, and platform engineering patterns.
• Build agentic and event-driven workflows for provisioning, remediation, change execution, incident support, and deflection with safety controls.
• Establish standards for safe AI use in cloud operations, including observability and rollback practices.
• Design and deliver self-service infrastructure capabilities using modular components and internal platforms.
• Design, operate, and troubleshoot AWS and Azure infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code and cloud-native architectures.
• Automate identity, access, endpoint, and end-user computing workflows across Entra ID, Intune, SAML/OAuth, Cognito, and AWS WorkSpaces.
• Influence engineering teams by introducing new patterns, standards, and metrics for automation.
