Job summary

OEConnection LLC is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve a cloud platform powering engineering teams. You will develop scalable infrastructure, automate with IaC, and optimize multi-cloud environments for reliability and cost efficiency.

You will collaborate with software engineers, architects, and DevOps to enhance developer experience, observability, and AI-assisted development at scale. The role emphasizes security and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in CS/Engineering.
• 6+ years in software, platform, DevOps, or cloud engineering.
• Strong experience with AWS (Azure or Google Cloud also considered).
• IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash scripting.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI.
• Strong networking, cloud security, Linux, and platform operations knowledge.
• Experience with observability tools: Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud platform infrastructure.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments for performance and cost.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for delivery and deployment.
• Collaborate with software teams to improve platform capabilities and UX.
• Monitor platform health and drive continuous operational improvements.
• Implement security best practices across infra and pipelines.
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate infra development while ensuring quality.
• Support AI agents through model access, MCP servers, and governance controls.
• Extend observability and auditing for AI-driven workflows.
• Research new cloud, platform, and AI technologies to improve practices.
• Champion responsible AI adoption and integrate tools into daily workflows.
