The Brixton Group is seeking a hands-on Senior AI Platform Engineer with deep Cloud Engineering expertise to help build and modernise scalable cloud infrastructure in Fort Collins, CO. You will design reusable platform capabilities and automate provisioning with AI-driven tools for payment‑critical workloads.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in Platform/Cloud/SRE roles, 3+ years IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, and 1+ year applying AI-driven automation in engineering.

Formación

• 7+ years of Platform/Cloud/SRE/Infra experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS, Azure, or GCP experience.
• 3+ years of IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• 3+ years working with database infrastructure, networking, or production reliability.
• 1+ year using AI/LLMs or AI-driven automation in engineering workflows.
• Experience architecting or modernising cloud/platform environments.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and build scalable cloud infrastructure for highly available, payment‑critical workloads.
• Design platform capabilities spanning cloud, database, networking, reliability, and automation.
• Create reusable self‑service tooling, guardrails, and infrastructure patterns for application teams.
• Automate provisioning, operations, troubleshooting, and infrastructure workflows using AI and agentic solutions.
• Improve reliability, scalability, observability, security, and cost as the platform grows.

Compensation: $140k-195k Base + Bonus + Benefits

Location: Fort Collins, CO (if on-site)

Remote State Eligibility: CA, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, MN, MS, NC, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WA

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Platform, Cloud, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands‑on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform experience.
• 3+ years of infrastructure automation/IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
• 3+ years working with database infrastructure, networking, or SRE/reliability in production environments.
• 1+ year using AI/LLMs, AI agents, or AI‑driven automation in professional engineering workflows.
• Experience architecting or significantly modernising cloud/platform environments.
