Job summary

EY is hiring a Senior Application Designer and Developer in the US. You will identify and define user requirements, focusing on UI across mobile, web, and tablet, and deliver software components that interact with upstream and downstream systems.

You’ll work in a platform-focused team delivering AI-driven, scalable solutions. The role emphasizes APIs, microservices, cloud-native design, and collaboration with clients in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (4-year degree).
• 3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze client requirements to define UI across mobile, web, and tablet.
• Design and develop user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications that support business objectives.
• Regular travel may be required to meet with clients.
