Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to deliver innovative UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You’ll translate client needs into robust software components and services, partnering with cross-functional teams to meet business goals.

You’ll work in a hybrid EY environment, tackling complex distributed systems, APIs, and AI-enabled solutions while mentoring others and expanding your technical leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Typically, no less than 2-4 years relevant experience.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
• Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
• Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
• Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with clients to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring final product meets needs.
• Designing and developing user interfaces that are functional and enhance user experience.
• Writing clean, maintainable code and creating specifications that support business objectives.
