Marathon Petroleum Company LP seeks a Senior Platforms Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize complex infrastructure platforms. You will own AI agents and automation lifecycle, deliver usage and cost reports, and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities include performance tuning, backup planning, disaster recovery, and cross‑functional collaboration to improve reliability and governance across enterprise platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft Power Platform in enterprise environments.
• Experience applying automation, monitoring, and lifecycle management practices.
• Managed security, identity and access controls within Microsoft 365/Power Platform.
• Strong reporting, analytics, and executive communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize platform and system performance.
• Lead platform projects, governance, and incident resolution with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop disaster recovery, backup strategies, and testing plans.
• Create executive‑ready reports on AI value, usage, and cost optimization.
• Mentor junior engineers and expand cross‑team knowledge sharing.
