Job summary

PingWind is seeking an AI DevOps Engineer to join our team in Rockville, MD, supporting AHRQ AI/ML strategy. You will ensure quality and reliability of applications, coordinate with developers, and deliver high-quality software and infrastructure for stakeholders.

You will work on CI pipelines, AI/ML deployment, and cross-functional collaboration to enable rapid development with a strong focus on security and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• 10 years of relevant experience required.
• AI/ML engineering, Generative AI, and large language models experience required.
• AI solution architecture and systems engineering.
• AI/ML prototyping, testing, evaluation, performance assessment, and monitoring.
• Extensive experience with databases, web technologies, and server/OS management.
• Proficiency with scripting languages and version control.
• Experience with cloud build/release engineering and DevOps in AWS/Azure.

Responsibilities

• Create and support continuous integration pipelines.
• Manage configuration and maintenance of servers and networks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software and infrastructure.
• Develop reusable code to automate processes.
• Write clean, scalable code following best practices.
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure and application performance.
• Participate in Agile scrum ceremonies and contribute to product roadmap.
• Provide security, data protection, and risk management.
