Job summary

PingWind is seeking a Senior AI DevOps Engineer to support AHRQ AI/ML initiatives in Rockville, MD. The role focuses on leading application and feature development, building reusable code, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deploy reliable software and infrastructure.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable AI/ML solutions, security, and privacy, while advancing DevOps practices and Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with AI/ML engineering and large language models
• Proficiency in AI solution architecture and systems engineering
• Prototyping, testing, evaluation, and monitoring of AI/ML
• Integration and deployment of AI/ML in cloud, application, and infrastructure
• Responsible AI, information security, privacy, and technical risk management
• Extensive experience with software from source and managing libraries
• Experience with databases and web technologies (HTML, XML, JSON, HTTP)
• Experience with Linux/Windows, scripting languages, and version control tools
• Experience configuring and supporting application/web servers and cloud build/release engineering
• AWS/Azure cloud services and related tools
• Linux/Unix system tools and incident resolution skills
• Support role experience with cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Create and support CI pipelines
• Install, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain servers and networks
• Collaborate with groups to manage systems, troubleshooting, configuration, and deployment
• Coordinate with developers and DBAs during development and maintenance
• Participate in Agile scrum ceremonies
• Develop reusable code to automate processes
• Write clean, scalable code following best practices
• Monitor performance of infrastructure and applications
• Participate in code reviews and ensure quality
• Implement security measures and data protection
• Document technical specs and processes
• Stay current with emerging technologies
• Provide cross-training and mentorship
