Job summary

Valiant Residential seeks a Senior AI Developer to own and build production AI applications for our multifamily operating company. You will work directly with the VP of Technology to solve real operational challenges by designing agents, copilots, and workflow automation that integrate with property management platforms.

You’ll ensure guardrails, measurable outcomes, and reliable production deployment across the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven track record shipping software that matches real work processes.
• Hands-on AI: prompting, guardrails, evaluation, and deployment.
• Experience applying LLMs or agent workflows to real tasks.
• Ability to explain a workflow to operators and engineers rapidly.
• Strong programming skills with Python; good SQL understanding.

Responsibilities

• Map workflows by spending time with end users across departments.
• Design and ship AI agents, copilots, and automation.
• Implement tool calling and multi-step processes with structured outputs.
• Set guardrails and approval requirements to prevent bad actions.
• Connect AI systems to property management platforms and data sources.
• Own production inference, including quality, cost, security, and logging.
