Job summary

Prophetic Software seeks a PhD-level engineer to own production AI pipelines powering SearchAI, ZoneAI, SiteAI, CouncilAI, and DevMap. You’ll ship code that runs nationwide and turn research into live platform features.

You will design scalable data pipelines, work with geospatial data, and own deployments, delivering high‑quality AI capabilities for land development across all 50 states.

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science or equivalent depth built in industry.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Strong systems engineering: data pipelines, orchestration, and agentic systems.
• Experience scaling large systems around model inference and data processing at scale.
• Deep hands-on experience with LLMs in production, including prompt engineering and evaluation.
• Strong Python skills and comfort owning deployments.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the AI systems powering SearchAI, ZoneAI, SiteAI, CouncilAI, and DevMap.
• Design and integrate agentic data pipelines and scalable architectures.
• Collaborate with evals team to create ground-truth benchmarks for AI features.
• Scale inference and data processing across national runs on hundreds of millions of records.
• Work with geospatial data at scale including parcel geometry and zoning.
