This role blends design leadership with hands-on influence, operating across mid-market contexts to raise the craft bar and deliver impactful product outcomes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on product design in enterprise, platform, or complex B2B products.
• Proven track record driving ambiguous cross-functional initiatives to outcomes.
• Comfort at the intersection of design, product, and engineering with strong collaboration under pressure.
• Deep fluency with AI as a design material and AI-native product design expectations.
• Strong facilitation instincts to align teams without formal authority.
• Bias toward fast, iterative validation using AI-powered design tools.
• Demonstrated mentorship of other designers and capability-building.
• Excellent executive communication to present design thinking to senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, HCI, or related field.
• A portfolio showing range, facilitation, and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Flex across Vision Setting, AI Incubation, Craft & Systems, and End-to-End Product Quality based on cycle needs.
• Translate ambiguous ideas into concrete, fast-moving momentum.
• Act as a design facilitator, bringing designers, PMs, and engineers into problems and maintaining momentum without heavy handoffs.
• Drive AI Incubation projects end-to-end when needed, shaping fast-moving initiatives into product direction.
• Maintain a high bar of craft and mentor mid-level designers to resolve ambiguity.
• Collaborate with engineering to push feasible, high-quality AI-enabled solutions.
• Represent design in cross-functional and platform-level conversations; translate direction for leaders.
• Use AI-powered prototyping to validate directions at pace with ambition.
