Job summary

Accenture is seeking Forward Deployed AI Engineers to join our Virginia team. You will embed with client enterprise teams to deploy production-grade AI platforms, owning time-to-value, adoption, reliability, and scalability in real-world environments.

You will bring 10+ years of engineering experience with cloud-native systems and 1+ year in agentic AI design and production deployments, plus 2+ years with AI platforms such as OpenAI or Vertex AI. Travel up to 0-100% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience with cloud-native systems (APIs, microservices, containerization, serverless).
• At least 1 year designing and deploying agentic solutions in production environments.
• Minimum 2 years of AI platforms experience (OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI) including multi-provider pipelines.
• 10+ years programming in Python, Java or equivalent; familiar with monitoring and observability.
• 10+ years deploying to production and leading client communication in ambiguous settings.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent; AI certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI platform deployments across complex multi-stakeholder environments from architecture to adoption.
• Own program-level delivery outcomes: time-to-value, reliability, adoption velocity, scalability.
• Lead rapid experiments and translate AI platform capabilities into business value.
• Architect and govern enterprise AI solutions across identity, data, security, and integration.
• Shape reinvention strategy for client CTO/CFO/CISO with ROI backlogs and roadmaps.
• Publish reusable blueprints and accelerators across client engagements and the FDE practice.
