Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to embed with enterprise teams, turning AI platforms into scalable production systems. You will own outcomes—time-to-value, reliability, and adoption—while leading multi-stakeholder deployments across complex environments.

You have 10+ years in cloud-native engineering, 2+ years with AI platforms, and strong client-communication skills. Travel may be required; location is in the United States with blended onsite work.

Qualifications

• 10+ years engineering experience with cloud-native systems (APIs, microservices, containers).
• 1 year in designing and deploying agentic solutions in production.
• 2+ years of experience with AI platforms including OpenAI, Vertex AI, and open-source models.
• 10+ years programming in Python, Java, or equivalent; familiarity with instrumentation and observability.
• 10+ years deploying to production—CI/CD, IaC, monitoring and debugging.
• 10+ years in client communication and workshop leadership under ambiguity.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent; AI certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI platform deployments across complex client environments.
• Own program-level delivery outcomes: time-to-value, reliability, adoption, scalability.
• Drive rapid experimentation to production-ready systems in days to weeks.
• Architect and govern AI solutions across identity, data, security, and integration.
• Shape reinvention strategy for executives; build ROI backlogs and roadmaps.
• Publish reusable blueprints and accelerators for multiple client engagements.
• Lead architecture sessions, workshops, and code-with sessions with client teams.
• Codify learnings and engineering standards to grow the FDE practice.
