Job summary

Health Note is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to lead the technical path from customer workflow requirements to live Access Agent deployments. You will configure AI-driven workflows, prompts, rules, and integrations, write production-ready code, and troubleshoot go-lives while partnering with Customer Success, Operations, and Product teams.

You will directly translate patient access workflows and routing logic into deployable configurations, ensuring scalable, repeatable deployments

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience building and maintaining production systems.
• Strong full-stack development experience with Typescript, React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong technical judgment about configuration, code, product or process changes or escalation.
• Experience working directly with customers, implementations, solutions engineering, or forward deployment teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive work to completion independently.
• Product-minded approach balancing customer needs, speed, maintainability and scalability.
• Demonstrated ownership of outcomes rather than tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical implementation of Access Agent deployments from discovery to go-live support.
• Translate patient access workflows into production-ready logic, prompts, rules, integrations and configuration.
• Write code and build tooling to make deployments faster and more reliable.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes and implement fixes.
• Partner with Customer Success, Operations, Implementation, Product, and Engineering for pragmatic technical decisions.
• Identify recurring needs and turn them into reusable patterns or tools.
