Job summary

Amigo is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to lead customer deployments from design to production. You will set architecture, break down ambiguous problems, and drive timelines, working at the intersection of engineering, product, and customers.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience with LLMs and agent systems, strong tradeoff judgment, and a track record of leading architectural or people work. On-site in New York or San Francisco is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with LLMs and agent systems, or the ability to get there quickly.
• Ability to break hard, ambiguous problems into work a team can own.
• Strong judgment to make tradeoffs and push back when needed.
• Leads through architecture, teams, or both.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of customer deployments end to end.
• Set architecture, translate needs into plan with owners and timelines.
• Decide what to build now, what to reuse, and what to push back on.
• Collaborate directly with customers to manage scope, timelines and quality.
