The ideal candidate will lead modeling projects, communicate results clearly to stakeholders, and contribute to best practices in AI across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data science/predictive analytics experience in (re)insurance or 8+ years predictive modeling in another industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete predictive analytics analysis and modeling on complex projects.
• Present results to customers and management.
• Contribute to projects yielding actionable insights to improve customer satisfaction, policy growth, retention and profitability.
• Data preparation and data quality evaluation for analysis.
• Identify data issues needing specialized analytics attention and model techniques.
• Document assumptions, results and alternatives; support rate filings or modeling practices with regulators as needed.
• Create modeling best practices and new techniques with internal and external partners.
• Explain complex analytic concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Lead and prioritize workload; perform technical peer reviews.
• Provide hands-on leadership across the AI lifecycle from model development to production deployment.
