The ideal candidate has deep expertise in AI/data risk, enterprise governance, and a proven track record transforming risk programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Economics, Public Administration, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in operational risk management, governance, compliance, audit, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of enterprise governance and risk practices.
• Experience supporting governance reporting, audits, and regulatory examinations.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to analyze risk themes and escalate when needed.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders and functions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight of business risk exposures, governance priorities, and remediation outcomes.
• Serve as primary risk advisor to business leadership on governance matters.
• Lead embedded risk professionals for governance execution, monitoring, and reporting.
• Evaluate risk themes and determine escalation and management actions.
• Translate enterprise risk requirements into governance expectations and practices.
• Partner with business leaders to integrate risk into strategic planning and changes.
• Oversee readiness for audits, examinations, and enterprise assessments.
• Support executive discussions on risk profile and governance effectiveness.
• Promote accountability for risk ownership and governance outcomes.
• Monitor and evaluate governance execution by managers and analysts.
