You will apply LLMs to extract and structure information with rigorous validation, ensuring data accuracy and currency. The team emphasizes correctness and aviation-domain curiosity, with profit sharing and a remote-first setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software with backend, data pipelines, or ML systems.
• Hands-on experience using LLMs/AI for extraction or structuring.
• Comfortable with ambiguous, messy real-world data and discipline to make it reliable.
• Bias toward correctness; aviation context is preferred or curious to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build ingestion pipelines that read charts, plates, POHs, and performance data into structured data.
• Use LLMs and AI tooling to extract information from messy sources with human-in-the-loop when needed.
• Design validation and verification to ensure aviation data is accurate and trustworthy.
• Own data quality, freshness, and systems that keep thousands of documents current.
• Collaborate with pilots to encode aeronautical judgment into data parsing and structuring.
