Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior AI Data & Analytics Engineer II for a remote position in the United States. You will define strategy for the data/AI foundation, architect marketing data infrastructure, and design semantic layers to support self-serve BI and analytics.

You will translate ambiguous questions into scalable solutions, lead cross-functional initiatives, mentor teammates, and push AI adoption to improve workflows across teams. 8+ years in data/AI engineering preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or AI engineering with hands-on data engineering expertise.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL, with strong data modeling and dbt experience.
• Deep knowledge of data warehouse and lakehouse architectures, ETL/ELT, and the modern data stack, including Databricks or similar.
• Experience building semantic layers and structured documentation for AI workflows.
• Familiarity with agentic coding tools and ownership of AI-generated outputs.
• Proven track record leading complex, cross-team data initiatives with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience supporting Marketing, Sales, or Product teams.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior AI Data & Analytics Engineer II to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will shape the data and AI foundation that powers marketing analytics, self-serve reporting, and decision-making across the business. The ideal candidate will combine deep hands-on data engineering expertise with the ability to define strategy, translate ambiguous questions into scalable solutions, and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders. You will also help raise the technical bar for the team while driving practical AI adoption to improve workflows and automate high-impact processes.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $137,445 – $231,000 annually
