Job summary

Lucid seeks a Lead Technical Architect to guide a Central Government AI and cloud transformation. You will shape secure cloud platforms, AI-enabled workflows and governance across a complex enterprise.

You’ll align architecture with security and regulatory requirements, drive design decisions with senior stakeholders, and mentor engineering teams in a remote setting. Active SC clearance is required; you will collaborate with partners to deliver scalable, secure AI services while balancing risk

Qualifications

Extensive experience leading enterprise cloud architecture on GCP and/or AWS.
Design secure Landing Zones, cloud networking and IAM with microservices.
Experience designing secure AI platforms and agentic workflows.
Knowledge of privacy controls, PII masking and data protection.
Ability to govern architecture through DPIAs and TDA processes.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical architecture and strategic direction of enterprise AI platforms, cloud infrastructure and AI-assisted workflows.
Define architectural roadmaps, principles and standards for secure, scalable solutions.
Design and implement secure Cloud Landing Zones across GCP and AWS.
Architect modular, cloud-native, microservices-based solutions for complex AI workflows.
Create API-led integrations between enterprise apps, cloud platforms and AI services.
Establish AI security guardrails, including human-in-the-loop processes and PII masking.
Lead governance and assurance activities including TDA approvals and DPIAs.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies and assess risks and integration needs.
Present designs and risk assessments to senior stakeholders and governance boards.
Provide mentoring and architectural oversight to delivery teams.
