Job summary

Chainguard is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for AI CI/CD to secure the software supply chain and build next-gen tools used by developers. You will join a small, fast-moving team shipping practical, production-ready features and collaborating with Product and Experience teams to guide technical decisions.

The role focuses on extending our AI-driven foundations into customer-facing experiences, with emphasis on Go, containers, and secure CI/CD systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in software development.
Expertise with containers, artifact registries, Docker, Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
Experience building and securing CI/CD systems.
Proficiency with Go (Golang) or strong readiness to ramp quickly.
Experience with AI tooling and enthusiasm for applying it to complex problems.
Enthusiasm to work closely with Product and customers to launch new features.
Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Own features end-to-end from design to rollout and iteration with Product and Experience teams.
Tackle ambiguous problems and drive a clear path forward with initiative.
Contribute to a product-driven roadmap with real deadlines and ship iteratively.
Extend Chainguard's AI foundation into customer-facing product experiences across the suite.
Provide a strong technical perspective on architecture and collaborate with the team.
