Job summary

Chainguard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Developer Platform team. You will join a high-impact group building the internal platform that powers Chainguard Engineering, including CI/CD, the Agentic AI platform, and scalable build infrastructure.

You will help scale the monorepo CI/CD and enable rapid, safe deployments to production while partnering with engineers across the org to drive reliable, data-driven improvements in product delivery.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building and operating production services and platform infrastructure in modern cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency with Go (Golang) or quick ramp.
• Experience with CI/CD systems, container orchestration, and scaling a large monorepo.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on key areas of the Developer Platform delivering technical implementations.
• Improve speed, reliability, and developer experience of the monorepo CI/CD pipeline.
• Productionize the Agentic AI platform: observability, RAG, context-engineering patterns.
• Consolidate build systems and deliver standardized paved road blueprints for new products.
• Identify toil, codify patterns, and automate repetitive manual work.
• Participate in design and code reviews to boost velocity and operations.
