Job summary

Opinov8 is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the backend and AI-powered platform powering our electric motorcycle ecosystem. You will design, implement, and operate robust web services and APIs with a focus on scalability and reliability.

You will collaborate across AI, product, frontend, QA, and DevOps teams, mentor colleagues, and drive architecture decisions. A strong emphasis on distributed systems, microservices, and modern tooling is expected, with a remote-friendly, globally

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, building, and operating production web services.
• Strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Proven experience with distributed systems and scalable architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web services and APIs in Python/Node.js or equivalent stacks.
• Enforce coding standards for clean, stable, extensible code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with urgency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with AI, product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and partners.
• Make high-level architecture decisions balancing scalability, performance, and maintainability.
