Job summary

Fuel Talent LLC is seeking a Senior/Staff Software Engineer focused on backend and AI infrastructure in a remote setup. You will build distributed services, APIs, and platform capabilities to support production AI workloads and scalability.

The role emphasizes strong backend fundamentals, API design, and experience with Go, Rust, or asynchronous Python, plus Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure. Equity and bonus are available as part of the compensation.

Qualifications

4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a backend focus.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, concurrency, and production backend architecture.
Production experience with Go, Rust, or asynchronous Python.
Experience building and operating scalable backend services in production.
Familiarity with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend services supporting production AI workloads and LLMs.
Design scalable APIs and distributed systems between applications and AI infrastructure.
Contribute to secure execution and isolation for AI-powered applications.
Build and support containerized platform services and autoscaling infrastructure.
Write high-performance backend code using Go, Rust, or asynchronous Python.
Work with Kubernetes, gRPC, Envoy, FastAPI, and OpenTelemetry.
