Lockheed Martin is seeking an architect to define the architecture of autonomous components across LM products and platforms, translating customer requirements into high‑level specifications and ensuring integration with other systems.

You will provide architectural guidance, set design standards for autonomy, and document technical designs for deployment. Strong collaboration with cross‑functional teams and clear communication with stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with containerization (Podman/Docker).
• Experience with IaC tools (Ansible, Terraform).
• Experience with virtualization tools (Vagrant, VirtualBox, VMWare).
• Active U.S. Government Security Clearance; clearance required prior to start.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Software Eng/Cyber Security.
• Familiarity with graph databases (Neo4j, Ontop, OrientDB).

Responsibilities

• Defines hardware, software, and systems architecture for autonomous components.
• Translates customer requirements into high level technical specifications and standards.
• Provides architectural guidance and participates in architecture reviews to ensure alignment.
