The role requires leading software and systems engineers, applying Digital Engineering with Cameo, and translating mission needs into total system solutions while navigating design maturity constraints.

Qualifications

• Experience with DoD systems/software engineering and architecture.
• Direct experience with OMS/UCI.
• Proven technical leadership and proposal development experience.
• Experience with mission planning, mission systems, and vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with industry partners to define and advance the autonomous‑system vision.
• Design an autonomy architecture emphasizing interoperability, scalability, and future capability growth.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team of software and systems engineers.
• Apply Digital Engineering principles (Cameo) to streamline development.
• Coordinate with LockheedMartin Business Areas and Lines of Business to capture lessons learned and shape strategic direction.
