The role emphasizes embedded systems, cross‑functional collaboration, and hands‑on work from lab to aircraft, with opportunities to grow into subject matter expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with C and/or C++.
• Experience with Linux or RTOS and associated development toolchains.
• Experience with the software development process in a team environment (peer reviews, unit testing, configuration management, defect tracking).

Responsibilities

• Full software lifecycle development spanning avionics services and mission system software technologies.
• AI/ML model development for autonomy software.
• Support ground station development for manned and unmanned systems.
• Develop simulations to support software development.
• Define requirements for rapid prototypes with engineers.
• Participate in integration and test events.
• Coordinate model-training timelines and integrate deliverables into system-level schedules.
