Job summary

Bluevine, the leading small business banking platform, seeks a hands-on AI builder to automate repetitive workflows across the company. You’ll identify frictions, design AI-powered workflows, and deliver practical tools that scale across non-technical departments.

You’ll collaborate with go-to-market, operations, and corporate functions, applying software engineering best practices to build reliable, secure solutions while measuring impact and value for the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software/automation engineering experience.
• Strong coding and scripting skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with AI tools and platforms (OpenAI, Gemini, Copilot, LLM workflows).
• Ability to translate business needs into well-scoped technical solutions for non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of APIs, browser automation, and integration/workflow tooling.
• Experience with Chrome extensions or browser automation tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-friction workflows suitable for AI and automation across the organization.
• Design and build AI-powered workflows, agents, automations, and lightweight apps.
• Translate business problems into implementation plans and success metrics.
• Apply SDLC best practices to deliver reliable, secure, scalable solutions.
• Evaluate tools and patterns for each use case, including LLM workflows and scripting.
• Create reusable components, documentation, and standards; measure impact and adoption.
• Measure solution impact through efficiency gains and business outcomes.
