Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. seeks an experienced AI Workflow Engineer to identify, design, implement, and scale AI-enabled workflows across business functions.

This role partners with Finance/RevOps, GTM, Services, HR/Legal, and Engineering to embed AI into real operating processes and drive measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate combines software engineering, AI fluency, business consulting, workflow automation, stakeholder management, and change management expertise to enable adoption and governance

Qualifications

• 6+ years in internal consulting or equivalent business/tech role.
• 4+ years shipping internal AI-native tools to production.
• Experience building AI program or COE for employees.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise workflows, and regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment.
• Translate business problems into structured requirements and metrics.
• Understanding of LLM-based systems and prompting/tool use.
• Proficiency with low-code/no-code prototyping tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact opportunities to embed AI into operational workflows.
• Map current-state processes, quantify pain points, define outcomes and metrics.
• Develop and maintain an AI workflow roadmap based on business impact.
• Collaborate with function leaders and the AI Transformation team.
• Conduct build-versus-buy assessments for SaaS tools and automation.
• Lead change management initiatives, workshops, and training.
• Create reusable patterns and governance for AI-enabled tools.
• Establish guardrails with Security, Legal, and Compliance teams.
• Address data handling, PII, access controls, and risk considerations.
• Define evaluation standards for accuracy, quality, cost, latency, adoption.
• Implement feedback loops to improve AI-enabled workflows.
• Work with technical teams on requirements and delivery plans.
• Measure outcomes to show meaningful business impact.
